Pink Turk's cap is beautiful again this fall, right by my front door.
In fact, I like it so much that I planted two more last fall. The first one was just tagged: pink, as opposed to the more common red. These two were tagged 'Pam's Pink' and have narrow pointy leaves.
While the plants appear healthy, I am disappointed that these new ones are just beginning to bloom in early November. The regular ones didn't bloom well during the hot summer this year, but budded up immediately after the cool down.
This is the first and only bloom I've seen on these two. Oh well, maybe next year.
