Your garden looks fantastic, lovely pictures...i wish i had more space! I've tried to plant some wildlife friendly plants, but they have gotten in the way of my veggies! I think i might have to rip up the patio and plant some grass methinks!

You have some beautiful pictures and one of your post helped me to identify the Common Sootwing that we caught in our backyard today. I think you may have misidentified this little guy though. The Gray Hairstreak has more of a long dash pattern that runs together instead of distinctly separated dots. I believe this little guy is an Eastern Tailed-Blue(Cupido comyntas.) Open wings would make it easier to identify as the males are blue and the females are brown and blue.
