I'm amazed (but yet not) that people buy live chickens for Easter? Madness! Glad you were able to save them!

I can't believe that someone dumped some chickens practically in your lap and you gave them away! I guess you really don't want to raise chickens in Brooklyn.

How terrible!!! You know, Sean and I are going to start a backyard flock. I'm so excited, I've wanted chickens forever. We're not going to start working on it until this summer...we still have to decide on coop configuration, etc....

I would love to have chickens someday, but our space in Brooklyn is so limited and our found friends weren't my first choice of breed.
